Revive Volunteer Group Facilitation Training

Revive training is comprised of a 30-hour training.  The training provides learning opportunities focused on group dynamics, the role and responsibilities of group facilitators, program protocols,  sexual trauma survivorship, sexual offending behaviour, and the ways in which restorative justice intersects with sexual harm.

Training fees are $300 or $150 for students/unwaged individuals. If this cost is prohibitive to you, please click here to find out about our subsidy program.

We welcome community members of all gender, orientation and lifestyle to attend this unique training opportunity and embark upon a rewarding and meaningful volunteer opportunity.

To become a Revive Volunteer you must take the Agency Orientation and the Revive Training preferably in that order.

Revive training is offered once a year and trainees must attend all required components.

Have you already completed a screening interview? Click here and register for the next Revive training.

Do you still need to complete a screening interview? Click here and register for the next agency orientation

More about Revive
Revive Facilitator Job Description

The training was amazing, the program is fantastic and the people are incredible.

I learned so much during my time with the program – the experience was invaluable.

So much of my (ever growing) personal practice and philosophy as a social worker comes from what I learned about Restorative Justice from CJI.

Upcoming Training Dates

Click here to access our event calendar, which contains a list of upcoming training dates.

During our 40+ year history, we have continuously responded to community needs by creatively, and innovatively applying restorative justice principles to new problems. We believe the only limit to the power of restorative justice is the capacity of the human heart to change and grow.
