Revive

Restorative Justice Approaches to Sexual Harm and Healing

CJI’s Revive program supports adults who are impacted by sexual harm through group and dialogue services, and community education. Our services are for all those impacted by sexual harm including partners, families, and communities.

CJI assists people who have been sexually harmed, people who have caused sexual harm, and others impacted.

Our services are grounded in restorative justice, trauma-informed, and intersectional principles.

Revive’s Services are centred around these values:

  • Voluntary
  • Survivor-centred
  • Collaboration and Choice
  • Confidentiality
  • Safety
  • Respectful of all parties involved
  • Meaningful accountability
  • Community involvement

Our services include:

  • Facilitated Dialogue
  • Education and support groups
  • Workshops and community training

If you are looking for clinical services such as counseling, therapy, risk assessment, or treatment, please contact:

  • The Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region
  • Randy Scott Clinical Services
  • CAMH’s Sexual Behaviours Clinic

Please contact us if you’d like more information on our services! People looking for referrals can inquire more about our services directly and do not need to go through a referral from an organization.

[CJI] presented a holistic view of how sexual harm affects all involved.  I learned excellent strategic tools to support clients and attend to my own self-care.

During our 40+ year history, we have continuously responded to community needs by creatively, and innovatively applying restorative justice principles to new problems. We believe the only limit to the power of restorative justice is the capacity of the human heart to change and grow.
