CJI offers consulting, training and coaching to help organizations create and sustain healthy workplace cultures. We support cultural groups, neighbourhood associations, government agencies, schools, places of worship, community agencies and other organizations.

Examples of Types of Training We Can Offer

Transformative Mediation Training

The major topics of this training include conflict management styles, empathetic listening, expressing oneself, principled bargaining, analysis of conflict, preparing people for mediation, transformative mediation, variations on the mediation process, and dealing with challenging situations. De-Escalation Training

Conflict begins and ends with emotional regulation. While simple enough on paper, self regulation in the face of escalation and conflict is a cultivated skill and one that can unlock de-escalation for self and others. This experiential workshop invites participants to understand themselves in relationship to escalation and conflict, identify pain points and boundaries, orients folks to the life-cycle of escalation and its activators, and explores tools and tactics for intervention and de-escalation. Facilitated Dialogue Training

Facilitated Dialogue is an approach used to engage  individuals or families, workplaces and community groups in dialogue about the impacts of sexual harm across circumstances. The training combines group learning, individual reflection, and interactive role-play.
